Volunteering with Bexley Beavers offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

Volunteering.

Bexley Beavers is run entirely by hard working volunteers who give freely of their time make the club the popular place that it is.  As a registered charity we are governed by a board of trustees and are always looking out for new members with the skills to help us to continue to run the club.

We currently have a vacancy for a Secretary and would love to hear from anyone who is interested in helping.

Lifeguards.

All of our Lifeguards are volunteers and to qualify as a lifeguard need to attend a 5 day course and pass an assessment at the end of it. You need to be a competent swimmer and have attained the age of 16. On passing the assessment you will qualify for a nationally recognised qualification – the NPLQ.  We would expect you to volunteer with us on a Friday evening on a regular basis and also to attend ongoing two hour training sessions once a month.
